Cable
Our imported bulk stocks of electric cable include YY, SY and CY Control-Flexes, DATA cables such as Cat5 and SWA Steel Wire Armoured. Buying direct from the source of manufacture, we also hold very large stocks of more specialised cables such as NYY-J, sometimes known as Hi-Tuff, and Fire Rated Cables for Fire Alarms and Emergency Lighting circuits.
Fixings, Fasteners and Support Systems
Fixings, Fasteners and Steel Support Systems are an integral part of our bulk offering to large conglomerates. Our products are tested to the highest standards and distributed throughout the UK. For example, our DIN rated Threaded Rod, HDG Cantilever Arms and specialised Fasteners are distributed nationally by our Fixings, Fasteners and Steel Supports division.
Electrical Control-Gear
CWS assist companies across the UK with all things technical in regards contactors, overloads and relays, with Europa and Schneider being popular product lines. We identify products that are no longer available and advise on suitable replacements. This is a bespoke part of our business that few are qualified to undertake.
Our 230volt single phase switches and sockets are supplied to large organisations including Universities and Care Homes and our range of Fusebox and Elucian fuse boards are a favourite amongst installers. In keeping up with current legislation all things AFDD’s, RCBO’s and Surge Protection are an integral part of our offering.
Three Phase 415volt
Three Phase 415volt distribution boards are a range stocked in depth, as are items such as Switched Interlocked Sockets in 16a, 32a, 63a and 125amp.

Ventilation
Our Ventilation section provides a good selection of domestic and commercial rated fans. Extremely popular products that help in combatting dangerous mould and property destroying condensation are our PIV units, also known as positive input ventilation fans. These are stocked in great quantity and popular amongst housing associations and landlords.
Heating
We stock a range of heating products and as an example, our efficient Electric fluid/oil Filled heaters to LOT20 have become very popular since the price of Gas escalated in 2022. Heating programmers, thermostats and timer switches are also stocked..
